Gibsons Set For Divorce

After 28 years of marriage Mel Gibson’s wife has filed for divorce, apparently because of irreconcilable differences.
Under Californian law Robyn could be entitled to half of the stars reported £432 million wealth.
The couple were married in 1980 and have 7 children together, with one less than 18 years old. There was never a prenuptial agreement, so now splitting the Gibson assets will be left to the Los Angeles Superior Court.
The couple gave a joint statement saying:
“Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so.”
The couple do seem to be amicable, they both attended church with family over the Easter period and just days before Mrs Gibson filed for divorce.
